Koishii & Hush Ft. Gillian Gilbert

‘Lifetime’ is Koishii & Hush’s first single of 2016 and it is classic K&H. Full on trance with an infectious groove that would bring even the most casual EDM fan to the dance floor. Another reason why this release is special is the vocalist, Gillian Gilbert – best known as a member of New Order and a founding member of The Other Two. ‘Lifetime’ marks the very first time that Gillian has written or performed vocals outside of her own projects, and to great effect.
Remixes come from a wealth of modern dancefloor talent including Saltmarine, rising house star Lavinge, synthpop master FM Attack, and trance hit machine Re:Locate.

Koishii & Hush Ft. Sarah Blackwood

Koishii and Hush release their new single ‘Rules and Lies’ which features the sublime vocals of Client and Dubstar vocalist Sarah Blackwood. This progressive house track comes with a fantastic pack of remixes including interpretations by Future Bible Heroes, Perfecto alumni Jay Welsh and trance star Johan Ekman.

Koishii & Hush Ft. Kate Peters ‘Freefall’

From hypnotic beginnings, the original Club Mix builds steadily and relentlessly, driven by the sultry, breathless vocals of Kate Peters. The thumping beats and bouncing bassline are joined by lush pads and arpeggios as the song rushes towards its peak, interrupted briefly by choral, three dimensional vocals in a brief interlude before a roof-raising finale. This mix is the perfect example of a track that balances subtlety and power in a delicious and sensual harmony.

Building on the sensual seduction of the original Club mix we have two mixes which take the more direct approach and serve up raw passion and lust. Firstly there is the Monoverse Remix which, with its huge rises pulsing bassline and slamming, spacious riff gives an altogether more urgent feel. Raising pulse rates, raising temperatures and raising the roof, this mix is definitely one that brings a dark and dirty edge to Ms. Peters’ stirring vocal performance.

Rounding out the package is the Simon Templar mix which uses edgy, gritty beats alongside an insistently driving bassline and punctuated pulses of synth loveliness to turn Kate from Saint to Sinner for 8 minutes of musical naughtiness which promises, and delivers, a real floor-filling, hip-shaking reworking that will get dance-floors hot and heavy.

Koishii & Hush Ft. Joanne Whalley ‘If’

Following on from a string of eclectic and diverse releases, working towards their debut album, Koishii & Hush deliver a genre-hopping track which blends the inspirational words of Rudyard Kipling, the sublime and sultry voice of English actress Joanne Whalley, and a musical roller-coaster which twists and turns through elements of ambient, progressive, trance and break beat to create something truly unique.

Koishii & Hush Ft. Tiff Lacey ‘Epiphany’

Koishii & Hush return with yet another outstanding release. Their sound defines the very ethos behind electronic music and this one is no different. Here they have teamed up with songstress Tiff Lacey to bring us this superb track, ‘Epiphany’. On remix duties is the on fire production duo of Nymark & Dryden with their peak time trance mix. Ric Scott delivers his trademark progressive house sound, while newcomer Dawnchaser slows things down with an expansive chilled vibe.
